f8 2014: Stability for Developers & More Control for People

Today we welcomed more than 1,700 developers to f8, our global developer conference in San Francisco. Our mission is to help developers all over the world build, grow and monetize apps across all devices and platforms. Mark Zuckerberg kicked off the day by talking about three themes:

We announced more than a dozen new developer products, including our biggest update to Facebook Login and the Audience Network.

Build

Grow

Monetize

Today we also announced four new public content APIs to help media companies tell richer stories with Facebook content and data. Internet.org also announced today that developers can now submit applications to participate in the Internet.org Innovation Lab at Facebook. To learn more and apply, go here: internet.org/innovationlab. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back next year — we’ve already set the date for our next f8, March 25, 2015. You can read more about all of these products on our Developer blog or tune in to watch the live stream here.
