News Feed is a regularly updating list of stories from friends, Pages, and other connections, like Groups and events. People can like or comment on what they see. Each person’s News Feed is personalized based on their interests and the sharing activity of their friends.

Messenger is a mobile messaging app that lets you reach people instantly on their phones. With Messenger you can send private messages and stickers, chat with groups, and make free calls, even to people in other countries. You can also see who's available on Messenger and who's active on Facebook. Messenger is available on Android, iOS, and Windows Phone.

More than 500 million people around the world use Groups. Groups give people a private space to share with small groups of people, like family, teammates or best friends. Privacy settings can be customized for each Group. Within a Group, people can post updates, share photos and files and organize events.

People can upload an unlimited number of high-resolution photos, create albums and choose their audience. It’s easy to add details like a caption and location. Tagging lets people identify friends in a photo and automatically share that content with them.

Pages are public profiles that let artists, public figures, businesses, brands, organizations, and non-profits create a presence on Facebook and connect with the Facebook community. When someone likes a Page, they can start seeing updates from that Page in News Feed. When someone likes or comments on a Page post, that activity may be shared with their friends, increasing the Page’s exposure and reach.

It allows people to browse selected health, employment and local information websites without data charges. The app is currently available in parts of Africa, Latin America and Asia, and will continue to expand to more countries around the world.

Facebook Lite is a new version of Facebook for Android that uses less data and works well across all network conditions. More than a billion people around the world access Facebook from a range of mobile devices on varying networks. In many areas, networks can be slow and not able to support all the functionality found in Facebook for Android. Facebook Lite was built for these situations, giving people a reliable Facebook experience when bandwidth is at a minimum. Facebook Lite is less than 1MB so it is fast to install and quick to load. It includes Facebook’s core experiences like News Feed, status updates, photos, notifications and more.
